IT centre
Digital tools are widely used throughout the school and an IT technician is available to help teachers and students to use these resources.
Student work sessions are managed by a server and each student is allocated their own data storage capacity. WiFi is available throughout the school. Each student is given their own login details and email address to receive information about school life, news about the school and its partners, work placement opportunities and details of entrance exams.
The school has a student computer room with 30 workstations, which are either Mac or PC depending on the type of applications installed. Workstations are equipped with the software needed to work on design (Illustrator, InDesign), digital photography (Photoshop), video and digital sound (Adobe Premiere, Final Cut, WaveLab, Ableton Live, Protools) and computer-assisted design (AutoCad, Sketchup).
Using the PaperCut system, students can print directly from their computer or make copies on the photocopiers available.
