TALM-Angers library
The library is open to TALM students and teachers, teachers of community classes, and any other art enthusiasts. It is open from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 12:30 pm and from 1:30 pm to 5:30 pm. Céline Ménager, the librarian, will be happy to welcome you and help you with your research.
The library has everything TALM students need for their work, with information, documentation, and constantly updated text, sound and audiovisual materials about artistic creation and everything it entails.
The library’s extensive collection allows students to compare their work to that of other artists and other modern creative disciplines, and to deepen their knowledge of the theory that is essential for any artistic endeavour.
The collection includes 15,000 books, 400 videos, 170 audio CDs and 73 journals, 34 of which are current publications. All the document collections centre around contemporary creation in the fields of art, architecture and design. They include monographs and written works produced by artists, exhibition catalogues, books on the history of art and artistic movements, theoretical works, and visual art themes and techniques. More broadly, the collection also includes classic reference works on the history of art, philosophy, literature, human sciences, and pure and technical sciences.
