In 2017-2018, TALM-Tours developed the Mouvements et Pauses (Movements and Pauses) project, a participatory renovation project for the Stalingrad middle school in Saint-Pierre-des-Corps. Led by designer Agathe Chiron, the project involved TALM-Tours 2nd-year students and their teacher Cyril Zarcone. This educational experience allowed middle school students and their teachers to dialogue, share and build a renovation project from start to finish. Execution of the work was shared between Agathe Chiron, Cyril Zarcone and TALM-Tours students, and the Stalingrad middle school teachers and students. Supported by the Indre-et-Loire departmental council, each partner contributed specific expertise which also demonstrates the advantages of interdisciplinary and interprofessional collaborations. Several events, exhibitions, publications reported on this experience.
