Ceramics workshop and foundry

The ceramics workshop is used for modelling, turning and moulding. It has an enamel lab, two potter’s wheels and a plaster modelling bench, an extruder, a slab roller, and a collection of self-service hand tools.
The school has four types of kiln: a 1,200-litre gas-fired convection kiln, temperature 1,300°C; a 300-litre electric kiln, temperature 1,280°C; an 80-litre gas raku kiln, temperature 1100°C; and a bronze foundry kiln.

Open access for TALM staff and students only.
Opening times
9:00 am to 12:30 pm, forma 2:00 pm to 5:30 pm, Monday to Friday.
