Printmaking centre
The printmaking centre has three workshops, for etching, lithography and screen printing.
Etching workshop
In the etching workshop, students can learn about intaglio printing techniques, whereby images are engraved onto a metal plate – usually zinc or copper – and the ink is held in the crevices. They can also work on wood engravings and linocut techniques. The workshop has three presses, including one for large format prints.
Access conditions
Open to TALM students only, during the day. Please note that the etching workshop can only be used by students who have taken Mladen Strbac’s Lithography module.
On Tuesdays and Thursdays in term time, the workshop is reserved for students who have enrolled for amateur practical workshops from 5:00 pm.
Opening times
From 9:00 am to 7:30 pm, on Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
