IT centre
Digital tools are widely used throughout the school and an IT instructor is available to help teachers and students to use these resources.
Each student has their own login details and email address which can be accessed from any workstation, and an email address for receiving information about school life and practicalities.
The school has two computer rooms for design and computer graphics lessons, as well as a shared space with three self-service computers for research. The Design and Computer Graphics rooms have around 30 computer stations (Mac or PC) which run the software required for students’ coursework, such as:
- Adobe Suite for design, computer graphics, video and web;
- Rhino 3D, AutoCad and SketchUp for CAD (computer aided design);
- Final Cut and Millumin for video;
- Ableton Live for sound.
