Privacy Policy

This privacy policy sets out and explains how TALM uses and protects personal data that you may provide when using this website at the following URL: www.esad-talm.fr (the “Website”).

Please note that this privacy policy may be updated and amended at any time by TALM, in particular to comply with any legislative, regulatory, jurisprudential or technological developments. The date of the update shall be clearly displayed at the top of this privacy policy. Any amendments shall apply as they are posted to the Website. You should check this privacy and cookie policy regularly to ensure that you are aware of any changes.

I. PERSONAL DATA

You can visit the Website, which is published by TALM, without providing any personal data. You do not have to provide any information to TALM.

However, TALM may ask you to provide some personal data, see below “Type and purpose of data collected”. When you provide this personal data, you expressly accept that it will be processed by TALM for the purposes set out in paragraph 3 below and for the purposes set out at the end of each form.

If you do not provide the data, some services and information may not be available to you.

In accordance with General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) enacted by the European Parliament on 14 April 2016, and the French Data Protection Act of 6 January 1978 as amended, TALM inform you of the following:

2. Data collection and origin

All personal data about Users is collected directly from the Users.

TALM undertakes to obtain Users’ consent and/or enable them to object to the use of their personal data for certain purposes when necessary.

Users are informed of the purposes for which their personal data is collected on the different online data collection forms.

3. Type and purpose of data collected

TALM may process your personal data to provide requested services. This data is collected through a series of forms completed by you.

  • Mailing list

Our platform manages the following mailing list:
- “General Newsletter”: an e-newsletter to update you on news, training and admissions.

By ticking the necessary box on the various forms, you consent to us sending you the corresponding service.

Each email will contain a link to allow you to unsubscribe at any time.

Our mailing lists are managed by YMLP.

TALM only collects sufficient, relevant and limited data necessary for the purpose for which it is processed.

4. Type of data processed

TALM may process the following personal data:

  • Surname, first name, organisation, job title, telephone number via the contact form
  • Email address via the newsletter subscription form

5. Recipients

TALM is the only recipient of your personal data. Your personal data, either in individual or aggregated form, is never transferred to third parties, notwithstanding data processors that TALM uses (more information in paragraph 7 below). Neither TALM nor any of its data processors shall sell Website visitors’ and Users’ personal data.

6. Retention period

When a form is submitted on the website, the data is stored for five years. Cookies created and used by Google Analytics have the following expiration times:

  • Type _gat : 1 minute
  • Type _gid : 24 H
  • Type _ga : 2 ans

7. Use of collected data outside our platform

Personal data collected on our platform is never passed to or sold to third parties. Nevertheless, it may be used and transferred to third parties applications for processing:

  • Mailing list management
    • In order to operate and manage (unsubscribe from) the mailing lists and to route the relevant information.
  • Data analysis and study
    • As part of our marketing policy and business management, we may carry out automatic processing (profiling) and semi-automatic processing (queries) of the collected data for statistical purposes and for sending information.
    • You may exercise your right to object, free of charge, at any time by contacting us at the address provided at the start of this Privacy Policy.

8. Your data protection rights

You have the following rights concerning your Personal Data that you may exercise by writing to us at the address in paragraph 1 or by completing the contact form.

  • Right to access your data

You have the right to access your Personal Data.

However, TALM is bound by security and confidentiality obligations in relation to personal data processing. Your request will be processed provided that you can prove your identity by providing a scanned copy of a valid identity document (if you make the request via our specific form) or a signed photocopy (if you make a written request).

TALM may refuse your requests if they are clearly abusive by their excessive or repetitive and systematic nature.

  • Right to rectification

You have the right to request the rectification, update, blocking or deletion of your personal data if it is incorrect, inaccurate, incomplete or obsolete.

You can also give general and specific directions about what happens to your personal data after your death. Where necessary, the heirs may demand that the deceased's death is taken into account and/or that necessary updates are made.

This right may only be exercised in one of the two following situations:

  1. When exercise of this right is based on legitimate interest; or
  2. If the exercise of this right is to prevent the collected data from being used for marketing purposes.

9. Response times

TALM undertakes to respond to your request to access, rectify or object to any request for supplementary information within a reasonable time that shall not exceed one month from receipt of the request.

10. Making a complaint to the competent authority

II. COOKIE POLICY
