Immersive ALL
Artist-Led Learning
Overview
Immersive ALL aims to evaluate the effects of so-called “immersive” artistic experiments on the participants’ and designers’ critical distancing especially in the world of graduate management courses. This initial project is a first step and a test of hypotheses for the European Erasmus+ ALL project: Artists-Led Learning (eight European partners including Audencia Business School) which aims to assess the impact of artistic interventions on a higher education institution’s commitment to their local context. The Immersive ALL project specifically questions appropriation by management and marketing of the value of experience.
Research results
The project undertakes critical analysis of hybrid immersive experiences created by the project partners, to determine whether they favour critical engagement and thought by students in higher education. Several phases and highlights are planned:
- data collection and analysis for publication upon completion of the European project on immersive experience effects at a public event and open to other researchers;
- communication of results using alternative forms to classical publishing.
Connection to the curriculum
The research programme will be discussed during the BDD / Bloc de Devenir seminar in the first half of 2020-2021 during the dystopian fiction writing sessions.
